What Englio does
Most people who struggle with English do not lack vocabulary. They have simply never spoken it out loud, in a real back-and-forth, with someone who listens and responds. Englio gives you that room. You open a session, an AI tutor talks with you in a live voice conversation, and when you finish you get a scored report that shows exactly what to work on next.
Englio covers spoken English, everyday and workplace communication, and personality development, delivered as live voice conversations: you speak, the AI tutor listens and replies in its own voice, and the whole exchange is turned into feedback. Alongside this you can run interview practice sessions — one-on-one or with a multi-tutor panel — to rehearse answering questions under pressure. Short, focused courses of ten-minute lessons build on the gaps your reports find. See how it works.
Who it is for
Englio is for anyone who wants to speak English with more confidence: students preparing for college, group discussions or placements; working professionals who need clearer communication at work; and learners who simply want to hold an everyday conversation without freezing. It also suits anyone rehearsing for an interview and wanting honest, specific feedback on how they come across.
It is built for Indian learners first. The topics, situations and conversation styles follow how English is actually spoken and used in India, and you can start out answering in the language you think in.
How the AI tutors work
Each session is a live voice conversation. Your speech is converted to text, an AI model works out a natural reply, and that reply is spoken back to you in the tutor’s voice — so it feels like talking to a person who hears you, remembers what you said earlier and asks a sensible follow-up. For interview practice you can face a single interviewer or a multi-tutor panel, each with its own voice and questioning style, in one live session.
When the session ends, the transcript is evaluated against a rubric. The report scores your communication — fluency, clarity, confidence, vocabulary and structure — points to the specific moments that helped or hurt, and suggests what to practise next, so each session builds on the last.
Today 118 AI tutors are available for speaking practice, and 104 short courses of ten-minute lessons work on the gaps a report finds. Meet the AI tutors or browse courses.
Languages
Englio’s AI tutors work in 11 languages: English, Hindi, Hinglish, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam and Punjabi. You can switch language mid-answer, the way many learners naturally do, and the report still scores your content and delivery. There are 118 AI tutor personas to practise with.
What we promise, and what we do not
Englio is practice. It will not turn you fluent overnight, and we never claim it can. What it can do is give you a safe place to speak English every day, make conversation feel familiar, and show you in plain terms where you are improving. Our feedback is guidance generated by an AI system; treat it as a helpful second opinion, not a final verdict.
We do not sell your data and we do not show advertising. How we handle your information — including the audio and transcripts of your practice sessions — is set out in our privacy policy, and the rules for using the service are in our terms of service.
